Obituary of Warren Dofford Moore

Warren ”Wayne/W.D.” Moore, age 96, of (Lake Ogemaw) West Branch, Michigan passed away on April 27, 2021 peacefully at his lakefront home surrounded by loved ones. He was born November 29, 1924 to Straud Wesley and Florence Edna (Walls) Moore in Poplar Ridge, Arkansas. Warren served in the U.S. Navy during WW II, commissioned on the USS Colusa from 1944-1946 and retired from GMC Truck and Bus, in Pontiac, MI in 1989. Moore, was involved in the original development of the Lake Ogemaw Summer Resort). He loved his grandchildren, the great-grandchildren, and the great-great grandchildren, most of whom learned to fish on Lake Ogemaw.
