Obituary of Shawn Norene Bliss

Shawn Bliss left this world to start the next beautiful chapter of her journey on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 after battling hepatic (liver) cancer. It would be wrong to say that Shawn lost the battle because she never stopped fighting, until her very last breath. Shawn was the most determined woman. To say Liberated, free, self-sufficient would be an understatement. More like, accomplished, college graduate, multi homeowner, traveler, designer, constructor and so much more. All while a divorced mother of 2. (and the best Grandma ever) Shawn is survived by her two daughters and their families, Nichole Burleigh (Erik Burleigh) and Danielle Vine (Deonte Wesley and Shawn’s 3 grandchildren Layla, Deonte Jr., and Belviana Wesley.) At Shawn’s request there will be no memorial service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date with close family and friends. Since Shawn was such a free spirit, her wishes were not to stay still but to be made into beautiful cremation jewelry. There are no final goodbyes, she hopes this will help to honor her memory and allow a reflection of how precious life really is.
