Grandpa Bruce was a wonderful, thankfully patient man. I thought he might rip out his remaining hair after I crashed 2 'toys' in bodies of water and a swamp in the span of maybe two weeks. I remember him grumbling, head scratching about my horrendous driving skills and lots and lots of well earned jokes. But I never saw him in any mood but buoyant. A magnetic personality you can't help but enjoy being around waiting to hurt yourself laughing at the next story to come out of his mouth. He's lived a good life, saw a bit of the World, had kids, was able to retire and relax the last couple decades. I'll always cherish memories I have of him and be proud to have had such an ancestor.
