My grandpa Bruce was someone who I admired and knew that he would alway be there for me. While he is no longer physically here with me anymore, I have precious memories that I can always cherish. I will remember how he taught me how to fish with my pink Barbie fishing pole and how I always made him bait the hook. He would take me hunting which I enjoyed because I could spend time with my grandpa and eat Goldfish crackers. We had great times driving the four-wheeler over to Nancy and Gary's so I could ride the horses. I will always remember the sound of the dinner bell being rang on the front porch while my grandpa grilled. He was an amazing grandpa, his laugh and his strong spirit will always me with me.

My dad’s passing came sooner than I selfishly hoped. While he is no longer here in body, his spirit lives on in me, his grandchildren and many others whose lives he positively affected. His sense of humor, boisterous laughter and selfless sharing are the characteristics I admired the most. I am grateful for the time we had together making memories. Spending hours doing home renovations, traveling, problem solving and celebrating major life events. Because we shared a lifetime of moments, my dad remains a part of me.

Bruce was a great father-in-law and a lot of fun to be around. Many good times, including going to the Bahamas, the New Year's Eve party's and salmon fishing on the Great Lakes. If you needed a helping hand with home repair or building projects Bruce was always ready to help you out.

Grandpa Bruce was a wonderful grandpa. As a kid I remember going to the fair, fishing at the pond, learning how to drive the four-wheeler, mo-ped and go-kart. I enjoyed making smores around the fire and listening to him tell stories about his good ol days. I remember going down to the bar for dinner and helping Grandpa pick out Keno numbers. I felt like his lucky charm. I remember when he had a puppy and thought he was the cutest thing ever. I'll remember Grandpa with my happy memories that have been formed throughout the years.

Grandpa Bruce was a wonderful, thankfully patient man. I thought he might rip out his remaining hair after I crashed 2 'toys' in bodies of water and a swamp in the span of maybe two weeks. I remember him grumbling, head scratching about my horrendous driving skills and lots and lots of well earned jokes. But I never saw him in any mood but buoyant. A magnetic personality you can't help but enjoy being around waiting to hurt yourself laughing at the next story to come out of his mouth. He's lived a good life, saw a bit of the World, had kids, was able to retire and relax the last couple decades. I'll always cherish memories I have of him and be proud to have had such an ancestor. RIP Brucie
