Obituary of Wallace James Pelkey

Pelkey, Wallace J Saginaw, Michigan Wally, age 67, passed away quietly on October 14, 2021 at Toni & Trish House in Auburn, Michigan. He was born in Saginaw Michigan, October 13, 1954 to the late Frederick J. Pelkey and Shirley A. (McMalI) Pelkey. He was a 1972 graduate of Arthur Hill High School where he later coached football. A lifelong advocate for dad jokes, Wally will be remembered for his great sense of humor,his love of hunting and fishing with friends, and especially his brother and best friend, Bruce. He was a huge University of Michigan football fan (Go Blue!), and loved spending time with his family and special friends (you know who you are); including Kim DeWitt and former spouse, Gail (Fischer) Cramton. Wally is survived by his children, Geoffrey (Sarah Holdwick) Pelkey, of Saginaw, Christopher Pelkey of Chicago, Illinois, and Meghan (Joshua) Hales of Saginaw; grandchildren, Eleanor and Madeleine Pelkey, and Benjamin and Julia Hales; siblings, Suzanne Czymbor of Traverse City, Thomas (Beth) of Alpena, Bruce of Roscommon, and Rosanna Priebe of Midland; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother James Pelkey, and brother-in-law Edward Cyzmbor.
