Ms Lankenau was one of the sweetest and most generous ladies I’ve known. Always had a smile and kind word for everyone. I didn’t have her as a teacher but she was my Sunday school teacher and youth group leader as well as a life long family friend. Rest In Peace sweet friend.

I’ve known Miss Lankenau my whole life. She was my Sunday school teacher when I was little and my youth group leader when I was a teen. She was a good friend of my family’s and tho I didn’t have her as a teacher in high school, she always gave me a smile when we passed each other in the halls. She was one of the most positive people I’ve ever known and a big influence in my life. I loved her voice and the kindness she gave to everyone. I hadn’t seen her in so long, but always kept in touch with a Christmas card. Carol, you will be missed and I will think of you each morning when I walk my dog. Thank you for giving me so much!

To Carol's family and friends, I am so sorry for your loss. Miss Lankenau put up with me as her student in middle school. God Bless her soul. I will always remember her. Sincerely, Jan Brissette

So very sorry to read of Carol's passing. She was a good friend in my younger years and while we lost touch over time she was often in my thoughts. Rest in peace my friend.

When we first moved into our neighborhood more than 17 years ago, Carol was the first one at our door. She had a plate of cookies in her hand and an invitation to join her at church the following Sunday. She loved our children as if they were her own grandchildren and always wanted the best for all of us. I'm thankful that her painful journey on this earth is over and that she is dancing with Jesus and all of the loves ones (including her dogs) that went before her. Jill Bair and Family
