Aunt Barb is an excellent model of what a great person is. She was kind, she was loving, she loved to laugh, she loved to help others, and most of all loved her family unconditionally.
So many of my memories have aunt Barb in them, as we spent a majority of holidays from Memorial Day to Labor Day up at aunt Barb & uncle Marv’s beautiful home. We stayed in the guest house out behind the house, and looked forward to each and every visit. We would go to flea markets, shopping and lunch at Loafers Glory, antique shopping, visit parks, go canoeing, visit beautiful gardens, bike ride, cross country ski, camp, pot luck, amazing dinners (lasagna was my absolute favorite!), watch fireworks, explore the outdoors, sing with the piano, and so very much more.
Aunt Barb was a second mom to me, especially when my mom passed, she treated me like her own. The earth lost an amazing person, and heaven gained an angel that I’m thankful to have known and loved.
