Barbara Ann Stickney (Parker) passed peacefully on August 10, 2022, surrounded by loved ones.  The oldest of 9 siblings, Barb was born to the late Alfred & Helen Parker on June 3, 1943.  She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, friend, and community member, and will be missed deeply by all who knew her. Barb was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; her eldest son, Dan; sisters, Valerie, Nancy, and Marlene.  She is survived by her son, Jim (Esther); daughter, Julie; two grandchildren, Sophia (PJ Duhamel) and Dino; siblings, Loretta, Priscilla, Jon, Scott, and Carole.  Barb was a respected long-term member of the Cedar Lake SDA Church.  She loved nature, puzzles, thrifting, and antiques.  She especially loved get-togethers and potlucks – any reason to cook something special and sit and visit with people.
