Doug and I were friends from age 5 or 6 and visited each other frequently when we were young. We kept in touch over our young adult years and became fishing buddies for the last 25 years. I remember fondly the great times we had fishing for salmon on lake Michigan, even the time we got caught in the rain coming back to the harbor. We got soaked but had caught 6 fish that afternoon. You just can't trust weather reports. Rest in peace brother, I know you are in good hands as Jesus was a fisherman too.
