To the mother I was gifted; you showed me so much about raising children and being a better mother and a better woman all around. You took care of me (and a little boy that wasn’t even your blood) for 20 years. I am so blessed that you were always here for me and the kids. Your family will always be my family because of your big heart. Not many women are lucky enough to have a bonus mom…. Especially one as strong as you. I was a lucky one. Even on your down days you still held strong to make sure myself and the kids and everyone else were taken care of first. I never would have expected that. I was your own child and I will forever be grateful. You never stopped loving me. I am so proud to be part of a family that you held together. (Crazy family or not) hahaha!!! My words don’t do any justice. I always have and always will love you to the moon and back. I’ll see you on the other side for a Diet Coke, a Chinese buffet and a game of cards. You told me one day that you wished you could pack us all up and travel, well some of us are just not packing fast enough. It will be our best camping expedition ever!!!! I love you!!!
