Obituary of Mona Jean Cramer

Mona “Monie” Jean (Bohl) Cramer 

Dec. 13, 1055 - Nov. 27, 2024

Age: 68 years 

Mona “Monie” Jean (Bohl) Cramer, aged 68, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 27th, 2024, at her home in Birch Run, Michigan. She was born on December 13th, 1955, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Marvin Dewey Bohl and Mary Ida (Donovan) Byerley. She graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1974. She was married for 52 years and spent all her adult life with Mark Cramer, the man she loved very much. 

She enjoyed camping, playing cards, being with family, and ensuring everyone was well before herself. She loved to laugh and joke around to enlighten everyone's spirit. Mona touched many people's hearts with her hospitality and helping words and actions. 

Mona is survived by her husband, Mark Cramer, whom she loved dearly. Her children, to whom she devoted her life, were her daughter Stacy Cramer and her son Bryan (Aina) Cramer. Her grandchildren, whom she loved with everything she had, were Grandsons Cody Cramer, Caleb Cramer, and Granddaughter Makenna Cramer. Her Sisters Marcia (Bob) Becker, Malinda (John) Allen, Shawn Hatch, and Rebecca Bowman. Her brothers, Mark Bohl and Dave Bohl. Her Stepmother, Carol Bohl. Several Nieces and Nephews said that she was a second mom, too. She cared for and loved her Many In-laws, Extended Family, and Friends. Mona was preceded in death by Her Mother, Mary, and stepfather, John Byerley, and her one-of-a-kind Father, Marv Bohl. 

The family of Mona would like to thank all the doctors and nurses who helped Mona throughout her medical complications. We would also like to thank Covenant VNA for the care, compassion, and comfort they could give Mona in her final days at home.
