Obituary of James "Jim" T. Beson

Beson Sr., James T. "Jim" Essexville, MI Jim, age 77, went to be with his Lord on July 26, 2015. He was born October 14, 1937 to the late Charles SJr. and Mary Beson. Jim always had a smile on his face and got along with everyone. Jim had worked in construction for many years before going on to be a car salesman. Jim enjoyed hunting & camping, playing cards and spending time with his family and friends. Jim was especially proud of his grandchildren, Hannah & Aaron. Jim served in the U. S. Army from 1956-1959 with an Honorable Discharge and rank of SP4 E-4. Jim leaves behind his children, Kimberly Beson of Bay City MI, Thomas (Deanne) Beson of Leslie MI, Pamela Budzinski, David (Karen) Lyons of Pinconning MI, James Jr (Kim) Beson of Mason MI, Donald, Ronald, & Marc Beson . Also left to cherish his memory is his sister, Rosemary Zube of Bay City MI, brother, David (Judy) Beson of Kawkawlin MI; grandchildren, Hannah (Dimitry) Beaubrun of Jackson MI, and Aaron Beson of Leslie MI; many nieces, nephews, and friends; caregivers and very dear friends of the family, Brenda McEachern & Zip Zimmerman. Jim was predeceased by his brothers, Charles Jr, William & Roy Beson; sister, Beverly Dahn; brother in law, Gary Zube; his special friend, Mercy Gillespie in February 2015. The family extends a special thank you to all of the nurses and aides of McLaren 5East and West Campus Acute Care for their care and compassion. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1795 W. Youngsditch Rd., Bay City MI. Pastor Mike Rhodabarger will officiate with burial and military honors following at Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday prior to the service beginning at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to First Church of the Nazarene Building Fund or the Saginaw VA Hospital Building 22.
