I am so sorry for your loss and for such late condolences. I just saw this obit. on "you know you're from Hemlock" (Facebook). I guess I've been out of touch. I went to school with all of you and attended St. Mary's, I remember your Dad well.

Don was my first friend when I started at Dow. He took me under his wing and taught me the ins and outs of working there. He was always there for me and so much fun to work with. He was smart, kind and patient. We had some very good times. Shortly after I got to Midland, he invited me attend a family wedding where I got to meet the local Bishop. He seemed a little surprised when I showed up but took me by the arm and introduced me to the bride and groom and to the Bishop! He was a wonderful person. Thank you Red, Wish we could have stayed in touch more. Rest in Peace!

My Father-in-law.... What can I say about a men that was quite? He always had such a wonderful smile, and a soft voice that you really had to listen hard to hear. I have never once ever heard him raise his voice even when things were'nt always right. But you could tell by just his looks that he was not pleased. When he did have something to say, he said it and you knew he ment business! This man was smart and made a good life for his family, he worked hard and was very noble, honest trusting. I am honored to have had him for my father in law. I'll miss him dearly. Rest in Peace Daddy...
