As those that knew Dave already KNOW, He was an amazing man. A family man, and a very hard worker. Dave thought me a lot when I started working in his building at Dow Chemical. Always willing to help teach you how to do something, and always going to teach you how to do it THE CORRECT WAY. Dave was a man of honor and pride. I was very fortunate to get to know Dave, and have time here at the plant with him. I bugged him for years to sell me one of his "Pride and Joy" possessions, and he finally did. It was difficult to get the keys to his Yamaha motorcycle, and I again feel very fortunate. I bought his bike this past summer and will always share a special feeling as I ride it down the rode, knowing that Dave owned and took such Great care if it for years. Thanks for the bike, and thanks for the GREAT MEMORIES DAVE.. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and loved ones

Dave was the rare combination of a smart, funny, hard working guy who was a good friend and an even better family man. He loved his family very much and thought the world of their grandkids. Dave took a lot of pride in always doing things the right way. I never can remember hearing of a time that if someone needed help that he ever said no. He always found the time and energy to lend a hand, no matter how crazy the work schedule was. Dave will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends. We'll be keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.

Dave, Kimberly and I met while they were volunteers helping Hurricane Katrina victims in Waveland, Mississippi at our church's compound in Waveland. We had a cantina and warehouse setup in the KMart shopping center parking lot, feeding 5,000 people per day and distributing all types of supplies. Both Dave and Kimberly were tireless workers who had come down to Mississippi with their church group to help out. Little did we both know that our chance meeting would turn into a remarkable friendship over these past 10 years as we formed a Christian brotherhood with both of our families meeting and staying in touch. Dave worked long and hard hours doing just about anything that was needed during his time with us and he even came back down to visit with his family to revisit Waveland years later. He was a remarkable Christian man who loved God, his family and helping others. He WILL be missed by so many of us.
