Garret wil be greatly missed. It saddens me to know I will not be seeing him again. I loved him more than words can say...my only real comfort is knowing he is no longer in pain. My condolences and prayers go out to the whole family.

I'm so very sorry to hear this news. My memories of Garret were so often of him smiling. He was always polite and kind to me and I never forget that about a person. It's very meaningful in the scope of today's daily life and in regard to memories of growing up in small town, small neighborhood. I remember that he had a bass guitar in the basement during high school. I never heard him play it but perhaps others will remember it. May God lift up the hearts of those who loved him.

To Garret's Family--Thank you for the bravery you must all have had over the last months. Carl was deeply saddened by the original news and just majorly devastated when he heard of his passing. Garret was the brother he never had. Although they may have bickered a bit at work-there was a bond that neither one of them ever voiced. He will be greatly missed by both of us! Carl and Trish Roth

a long time ago, we played softball on the same team, what a great team mate Garret was. always positive, unless you needed to be "instructed" to change your approach in a certain manner. and in that case you knew he was right. i haven't talked to Garret in a long time and am immensely saddened by knowledge that it won't happen on this earth any more. kind, decent and authoritative is how i would describe him,and i imagine the people close to him will miss Garret terribly. such a shame. my condolences to all who are feeling the pain of his loss. Godspeed Garret, earth's loss heaven's gain. sincerely, thomas block

Many fond memories with Garet! Having a beer, playing euchre, pinnocle, cribbage. His words of wisdom, to which we didn't always want to hear :) Will think of him with a smile and remember him as he wanted. Prayers to his family!

Garret and I went thru catholic school and High School graduating together. He was Best Man at my wedding and played Santa for many years at our house for my boys who all loved him dearly. He was always a welcome guest and loved a home cooked meal when he visited us. My deepest condolences to his family. He will be greatly missed.
