Shortly after having met my "Aunt-in-law, we were sitting together as Jeff (her nephew/my husband) was playing fiddle in his band.... He has this "bit" that he does where he pulls a lady, usually cute, of course, up on stage and teaches her to play fiddle. This generally involves some outrageous flirting - to say the least. As we were watching this Emma Jean asked me if that display bothered me at all....I responded with a laugh and said "no, not at all, it's just a fun part of his show!". She smiled that smile of one with years of wisdom and nodded her head and said " That's good. Because the girls just get them wound up and then we get to take them home for all the fun!"....she was of course, imparting her wisdom from also being the wife of a musician. That was almost 12 years ago now and I will never forget it! Truly one of my favorite memories! Jen Cassaday

She was a beautiful person. I knew her from Dow and always enjoyed talking with her and that beautiful smile she always had. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Rest in peace and may God watch over the family at this difficult time.

I will never forget my first experience snow skiing in Flagstaff Arizona. The adults had the beds. At least 6 kids slept on the floor of the motor home that slept 4 people. I was around 10 years old.The Dundas family came out to Arizona to visit, we crammed into this motorhome to find snow in Arizona. Being familiar with snow, the Dundas family had a ball skiing down the slopes that Northern Arizona had to offer. I myself never got beyond the "bunny hill" without hurting myself by crashing into something or somebody. I finally broke the skis that were rented by the resort. I came to the conclusion that I was just not coordinated enough to ski. I turned in my broken ski's and spent the rest of the day in the lodge by the fireplace, feeling sorry for myself. I remember Aunt Emma Jean sitting next to me trying to convince me that it was not the end of the world because I failed as an Olympic Skiier. We sat there with our hot chocolate and talked about everything else except for skiing.... It was a great vacation after all because of my Aunt Emma Jean.

So many memories, there's too many to list. The musical talent that blossomed from the whole family is unlike any other family. And Emma Jean played a huge role and very much was a participant. The harmonies that came from her, Kathy, and Karilyn will always be in my memory. She is now singing with the angels in Heaven with that big smile on her face she always wore.
