Obituary of Donald F. Novey

Novey, Donald F. Saginaw, MI Donald passed away on December 1, 2016. He was born in Brule County near Kimball SD on December 6, 1931. After graduating from South Dakota State University, Don served in the military and was honorably discharged in 1965. Don was employed as a Professor of Economics at W. Virginia State College and at Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU) where he was granted Emeritus status at his retirement in 2002. He is survived by his wife, Rose; five sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Ken and a baby sister. At Don's request, cremation and a private service were held. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Donald F. Novey Scholarship Fund at SVSU or the charity of the donor's choice.
