I was stationed at Ft. Lewis, Wa. with Bill in 1967. I remember meeting him when he first arrived there and asked him where he was from and he said "Pontiac, Michigan" Since I was from Pontiac also we had a good friendship. A few of us from Michigan used to get together once in a while after we got out of the Army and Bill was usually there. Good memories.....RIP Army brother.....God rest your soul. ...Phil Strong.
