Venita was one of the first people I met when I moved to Bismarck in'81. She sold Avon and Kent was our paperboy when I lived on the south side of Bismarck. She was always so nice and helpful and always ready to visit. I had the privilege to watch her grandkids, Brianna, Kelsey, Jayden and Josh when they went to grade school and I moved to central Bismarck. Never a dull moment with that crew! My deepest sympathy and hugs for all of you. Venita was a terrific lady!

I'm so sorry to hear of Veneta's passing. We were classmates and good friends at Bradley School for several years and after we graduated. We got together every Memorial Day dinner in Bradley that Nita made it home to catch up on what was going on since we last got together. She got my little Japanese Chin dog, Mollie, for me. Since my husband was not too excited about me having another dog she would joke with him and tell him "Have I got a deal for you" about every time she seen him.
My sympathy to you and the family. I would like to attend her memorial service.

Out of old school respect, I referred to Veneta as Mrs Diede and considered her my second mom. She never feared disciplining any of the kids that hung out in her home. She was stern, kind, hip and strong. A part of my heart just died today. Her spirit will live on through Robin and the boys. Mr Diede & Kent are sure to be excited to see that mom is home now. Robin, here is a big {{hug}} that you will need. I can't even begin to understand how you feel right now. God's Speed my friend, I love you to pieces!!

Robin and family. We were so sorry to hear of Veneta's passing. I truly believe that Pete and Kent were at the gates to meet her and are reunited again.
I have many wonderful memories of your mom, always a smile and kind word for people. I remember her also as my AVON lady. Holidays were always filled with laughter and cheer.
Your North Dakota family sends their thoughts and prayers.
