Obituary of Veneta F. Diede

Veneta Diede Bay City Michigan Veneta passed away at home under Hospice care on January, 28th. Veneta just celebrated her 76th birthday on January 25th surrounded with family, friends and her dogs. Veneta enjoyed breeding puppies, was an active member at the Moose, she loved to participate in motorcycle gatherings and neighborhood parties and events. She loved everyone and never judged people. She will be missed but fondly remembered by everyone who knew her. She was born in Bradley, South Dakota and moved to Bismarck, North Dakota after marrying Robert Diede. After her husband's death she moved back to South Dakota where she lived for 13 years until then moving to Bay City Michigan in 2013. Veneta will be missed by her daughter Robin Diede, grandson Jeremy Mackiewicz and great grandson Jeffrey Shirkey all whom live in Michigan. Her sister Mavis Valberg and Mavis's husband Hubert, brother Lester Fryett and several nieces and nephews from South Dakota. She will also be remembered by her 6 grandchildren Doug, Brianna, Kelsey, Jayden and Josh and additional family from North Dakota. Veneta was predeceased by her husband Robert Diede, her son Kent Diede, her parents and 4 sisters. Veneta wished to be cremated and not to have a memorial service. The family will have a celebration in the spring in Bay City. Sometime this summer, her ashes will be driven via motorcycle to South Dakota where a memorial gathering will take place. We will then proceed to drive to North Dakota where her ashes will be placed with her husband at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery. Veneta's last motorcycle ride!
