Oh mama san! You were one of his favorites. Thank you for everything you did for him while he was in Caro. He sure loved his time there.

So Very Saddened to hear of Slim`s passing.
Our family sends our most sincere condolences.
Mr. Clarence "Slim" Millikin is a man I looked up to.
This man left a mark in this world, with his presence.
An Honest, Funny and Caring individual, to every person he met.
He shared with me, the stories of his times in combat.
He is my "Brother", as we both served our Great Country as Soldiers in the United States Army and I shall miss him dearly.
Go home then Brother, Rest Thee Well in the Halls of Valhalla
Then I heard a voice from heaven say, "Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." "Yes," says the Spirit, "they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them."

The Millikin house was where the neighborhood kids went to have fun. We played basketball in the old barn, softball where we tried our best to hit it over the barn, and of course many football games. We remember many occasions where Mr. Millikin played QB for both teams. He loved playing with us, and we enjoyed that he was out there making great passes to Brian, Tim, and us.
Mr. Millikin also enjoyed talking politics and was a great storyteller. He was a great person who always made you feel welcomed at his home. Slim is in heaven now. The memories we have are still as vivid as they were when we were kids.
