Dear Loiselles, Your mom was my childhood friend, and I loved her. One of my favorite memories was “playing farm”with her farm animals & model horses. So glad her life with all of you was filled with many real “critters.” Her parents were like a second family to me. We were in contact when Carrie & Marcus were young, but we lost touch when she moved. We reconnected briefly at what must have been the start of her dementia. She mentioned that her husband was her rock.
Your beautiful tribute speaks to how well she was respected and loved, which is no surprise, but a real comfort to read. If there is a way we could connect, I’d love to hear more about your lives, and share more memories with you.
