Firstly, my and our deepest heartfelt condolences to the entire family. She will be dearly missed here but is already shing bright in her forever home now.
It's difficult to say JUST one "remembered" event since Aunt Tun was part of my younger years so often! So I'll just mention a few...the many trips made to visit us in California were always special, lots of laughter and joy. Each trip brought new adventures, meaning yahoo we get to go to Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, the San Diego zoo, Sea World, Bates Nut Farm (not forgetting the "outhouse" photos and laughter, roadtrips to the surrounding areas, doing puzzles ....lots!! The chitchats on the patio swinging or rocking away the hours which were always accompanied by amusing anecdotes and laughter. I have here with me my wonderful gift from Aunt Tun of the book Borrowers, read so many times she knew of and fired my vivid immagination! Something all Metevia woman have in their DNA is laughter and what follows, laughing so hard it's a run for the bathroom....scene...we're at the bay in Bay City trying to go canoeing. The M sisters all nestled into their beachchairs facing the water ready for the scene of Dad, my bro and Uncle Joe showing them how. I'm on my beach towel next to the gals and able to see under their chairs the entire length og beach. So ready for the show, it begins and funnier than heck and the M girls are laughing so hard that I'm getting sprayed by all their 'water faucets' ON under their chairs in synchrony!!! Laughter and Love are my memories. Kel
