What is the use in posting this on a site used for friends & family to mourn? Eric was a great enough father to raise children not to post disrespectful things like this on other peoples' obituary pages.
Thank you for posting this Jason. It does give me some peace knowing so many people tried to help! I have often wondered how long before someone helped him! I am thankful he was not alone. :heart:
To Eric's friends and family
I happened upon the scene of the accident, probably the 6th or 7th person on the scene. As I approached one of the passerby's was on the phone with 911 and began cpr. The man continued for probably a solid ten minutes until responders were on the scene. There were individuals stopping and rerouting traffic in all four directions so that emergency vehicles could freely access the scene. It was inspiring to see how people come together under the direst of circumstances. Everyone there did everything they could to give Eric the best possible chance. I just thought maybe it'd be some small consolation to hear that. I'm terribly sorry for your loss.
