I appreciated Beth's personality, she told me stories with enthusiasm, told me she played trombone after I played mine at Sheffield for my Mom and the group. I share the grief of losing such a significant woman, like my Kom Dolores Maillette, and we are all better humans because these two women influenced others to step up with determination.
