A truly great man, intelligent, hard working and earnest. Anyone who spent a little time around Wiley got to know his spectacular sense of humor. I was often caught off guard as he explained something with his totally serious demeanor, then delivering the punchline and strolling away.
One of the many fond memories Wiley leaves me with, was his way with babies. Even my toddler daughter, now almost 30, got toted around and joyfully rode the tractor with him. The world was made better for his having been in it.
Wiley was a fine man and left an indelible mark on my heart. They just do not make them like that any more!
