Obituary of Dennis Lee Fitzpatrick

Fitzpatrick, Dennis “Denny” Bad Axe, MI (formerly of Columbiaville, MI) Denny passed away April 29, 2021 at the age of 78. He was born March 26, 1943, to the late Harry and Josephine Fitzpatrick in Pontiac, Michigan. To know Denny was to love him, strangers quickly became friends and friends became family. He had a love of fishing and looked forward to catching walleye while on vacation at his family camp on Negwazu Lake, Ontario. He loved his grandchildren with all his heart and enjoyed watching them excel at sports, especially hockey and soccer. Denny loved people and he was happiest when he was surrounded by his friends and family. Denny is survived by Carol, his wife of 25 years; children, Lori (James) Shifflett and Chad (Leah) Fitzpatrick; grandchildren, Claudia, Josephine, Jack, Colin and Oliver; brothers, Neil (Virginia) Fitzpatrick and Terry (Linda) Fitzpatrick; and a host of other family and friends that loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents. As were his wishes, Denny will be cremated, and a Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers or memorial contributions, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider honoring Denny by leaving a tribute message and sharing a favorite memory or photo.
